A Recent Review:

Just wanted to let you know that I directed your play on Friday night (performed by my Year 5 and 6 children) and it was a huge success – lots of really positive comments from parents who really appreciated the humour, a truly unique play! The jokes were great, songs thoughtful and we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. My only problem now is, what will I do next year? This play will be a really tough act to follow! With heartfelt thanks and congratulations on a super piece of originality.

This show has 8 songs...

  • History
  • Literacy
  • Mathematics
  • Games
  • Religious Studies
  • Art & Science
  • Geography
  • Design Technology
  • The CD contains 16 tracks - each of the songs is recorded with and without a guide vocal. The vocal version will help the children learn the song and the plain backing track can be used for the actual performance.

Cast: 50 speaking parts, but with doubling up it is quite feasible that this play could be performed by as few as 16 (very busy) people.

In July 2011 The Complete History of the World (abridged) was performed in Portuguese at the Conservatory of Music and Arts of Dão. The play was produced by Antonio Leal and translated by Sandra Leal. The staging was epic compared to my original production in 2010. Here are some photos and a video of História Completa do Mundo (abreviada).
