Please note: a £5 admin charge will be applied to returned scripts. If you would like an approval copy please ask for one through our Contact page. Approval scripts, which have the last few pages missing, are sent only by email. Unless an approval copy is specifically requested, all orders for scripts via email will be treated as firm orders and the purchasing organisation will need to settle the attached invoice.

When will I receive my script?

PayPal orders are usually sent within 24 hours of receipt. School orders are usually dispatched within 48 hours of receipt - as the goods are sent before payment is received we have to check that the order is legitimate.

I want to put the play on in front of a paying audience - do I have to pay extra?

For schools and amateur theatre companies the answer is no - the price you see is the price you pay and includes photocopying and performance licences. If you are a professional theatre company please contact us via the enquiry form above.

Can I give my friend a script I have bought to perform at their school

No you can't. By all means let them read it, but if they like it and want to perform it they will need to purchase the performing licence from us. They will be breaking the law if they perform the play without our permission.

What do I do if I don't think the script you sent me is suitable?

If the sample scenes on the site aren't enough to help you make up your mind about one of our scripts you should ask for an approval copy via the form above. Approval copies are always sent via email. Orders received via the School Order form will be counted as firm orders and you will have to pay a £5 admin charge to cover our time and postage if you wish to return the script. Scripts sent by email cannot be returned and the invoice must be settled. If you're not sure about a script ask for the approval version!
